After becoming obsessed with the Still Woozy album 'If This Isn't Nice I Don't Know What Is' I knew I had to create a poster to celebrate his work and the joy it brought me. I decided on creating 2 posters and then creating an animated transition back and forth, a still image would not bring justice to the rhythm filled, funk loaded album.
I was particularly interested in playing with the shape and form of typography and decided a typographic approach would be perfect for this project, using vibrant colours and flowing visuals to bring the poster to life.
This project was the perfect opportunity to play around in after effects and add more effects and techniques to my mental library, developing my skills as a designer while also honouring a musician I love.
